Support one another: Pencil Drawings「支え合う」鉛筆画

Begun in his late eighties, this series draws sculpture instead of carving it: rings of cylinders that hold one another up, none able to stand alone. Pencil on paper, 700 × 700 mm and 300 × 300 mm, 2024–2025. First exhibited in spring 2025. 80代後半から始めた連作。彫るかわりに、彫刻を描く。円筒が互いを支え合い、どれひとつとして単独では立てない環。鉛筆・紙、700×700mmおよび300×300mm、2024–2025年。2025年春の個展で初公開。
